P QC/ALM is a test management tool which is supportive in entire project plan to track the
Software projects from requirements phase to Defects closing phase. Other than this HPAC/ALM site admin will have all the backend operations for projects Creation ,user Creation, database set up, creating versions, assigning the roles according to role management (Ex: Software tester, Test Lead, Project Manager etc).
In below steps you will learn New users creation in HP AC/ALM site administrator
- Open HP ALM site admin page
- http://<QC Ip address>:<QC port>/qc_bin
- Click on Site Administrator link
- Enter valid user credentials –Username and Password
- Login to site admin
- Click on Site users tab in Home screen
- Check whether user exists with the help of Search option.
- If User is not created then click on new user icon in Site users Tab
- Enter user name Mostly As Employee Employ Id Ex: 321456
- Enter Full name, Email id it is as Company Email Id in order to receive Emails if any changes done.
- Click Ok button
- Click on password button
- Enter New password
- Enter Retype password
- Click on Ok button
After creating the new users Site Admin will assign the projects according to provided data as below:
Select Project in the right hand side select Project Users tab where newly created users will display
Click on Add – Add from the users lists.
It will display all available users in same screen with Add Selected User, Refresh icon, Find text box
- Enter Username or Full name in order to search
- Click on Find icon
- Select the user
- Click on Add Selected User arrow
Now added user will display in Project Users tab under selected project with below details in Grid
1. Username
2. Full Name
3. Project Administrator
If Site admin selects third option then that user will have all privileges same as QC Admin in HP AC/ALM users page.
In this way HP ALM/QC admin set up new users credentials in HP QC/ALM site administrator
page. Site admin assigns the projects according to provided data from project manager.

added something that makes people desire more? I mean "Creation of new user in HP ALM" is a little plain.
You could peek at Yahoo's home page and see how they create article headlines to get
people interested. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to get
people excited about what you've written. Just my
